Accolades

Alfredo Santos Perez, also known as Al Perez, is a renowned Filipino painter who has significantly impacted Philippine art. Celebrated for his masterful depictions of historic churches across the Philippines, Perez adeptly conveys the essence of Filipino culture. Beyond architectural themes, he portrays poignant scenes of mothers and children—some of which have been featured on Philippine Postal Stamps. Expanding his career, Perez ventured into abstract art, exploring new avenues of expression. He continuously adapts to the evolving art scene, innovatively approaching traditional subjects and experimenting with fresh techniques to establish a contemporary style. Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards and participated in numerous group exhibitions, cementing his position as a leading figure in Philippine art history, admired globally.
