Postage Stamps & Seals

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) last Christmas in 2023 released a special series of postage stamps featuring the exquisite artwork of Al Perez. These stamps showcase his timeless renditions of the Mother and Child, reflecting the enduring and boundless love akin to the connection between Mary and Jesus. PHLPost has printed 20,000 copies of the four (4) different designs of the stamps with a denomination of P16.00 and another 800 pieces of limited first day cover envelopes as collector’s items.

The Stamps and official first day covers shall be available at the second floor of Manila Central Post Office Annex Bldg. located at the back of the fire gutted historic structure.¹

Al Perez has been a major contributor and a valued member of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society Inc. (PTSI) TB Seal Committee. His artwork has been featured annually in this significant fundraising initiative, which supports crucial tuberculosis outreach and advocacy programs. In 2017, PTSI launched the "Shrines of Faith" TB Seal Campaign, showcasing Perez’s stunning depictions of 40 sacred sites across the Philippines.
